Connecting Makers: In Pursuit of Funding

For makers in pursuit of funding – in the broadest sense – for their creative practices and businesses, this online workshop led by Helen Voce, will explore:
- what funding is
- what is funding for and importantly, what do you want / need it for
- where to hear about and find funding
- and ultimately, how to prepare for and apply for funding
Helen will draw on her experience of applying for funding and managing successfully funded activity, setting up and managing funding programmes for makers, assessing applications independently and as a panellist to offer insights, tips and resources.
Finishing with time for Q&A, the workshop offers something for people at all stages of their funding journeys, with more of a focus on those taking their initial steps or wanting to hone their application approach. In the spirit of Connecting Makers, whether you are new to funding, an experienced application writer or pivoting the direction of your practice / business, your experiences are most welcome at the workshop in support of your fellow makers.
