Description

I create one-off sculptural porcelain works and limited edition collections inspired by people and places, and in response to specific themes or topics. Inside Outside are a pair of hand built sculptural vessels, made in black porcelain and decorated using my signature inlay technique to add colour. The pattern in these vessels is placed on either the interior or exterior, in a variety of colours representing skin tones. This work explores the perception of being an insider or outsider in our society based on colour or ethnic origin.

Once the item is purchased the maker will be in touch to arrange delivery of the item if it cannot be collected at Custom Lane on Sunday 11^th June between 12pm-4pm.
