Applied Arts Scotland is seeking experienced craft curatorial support to deliver an open exhibition of work by AAS Members taking place at Custom Lane Gallery in Edinburgh from 27 May until 10 June 2023.

The exhibition, funded by Creative Scotland‘s Recovery Fund for Organisations, marks 30 years since our first open exhibition. It will be accompanied by an online version and will celebrate the creative heart and soul of making practice in Scotland today.

The curator will work on a freelance basis for five days at Scottish Artist Union 2022 day rates to develop and implement a curatorial approach to the exhibition and guide the installation. This work can be undertaken from anywhere in Scotland however the curator must be present for the installation.

Applications may be submitted by individual curators or by a curatorial team and the deadline for applications is 23:59 on Wednesday 1 February 2023.
