Carol Sinclair

Carol has been running her ceramics practice for over 30 years and combines her studio work with her freelance work facilitating creative projects and delivering professional development activities. Her practice explores the theme of memory and her one-off pieces and installations consider how we connect with one another and our environment. Most recently she has adopted a closed loop approach to her materials, which means trying to use and reuse as many of the materials from all parts of her making and home life as possible, including paper and plastic. In particular she has been exploring combining the clay waste from her studio with biodegradable plastic to create materials that can be composted.
