I started my creative career with architecture, studying at Edinburgh College of Art and practicing across Scotland. The influence of this is heavily felt in my jewellery designs. My introduction to jewellery was at summer school at Leith School of Art in 2012, and I haven’t looked back. Now, I work as a designer/maker from my studio in Perth creating jewellery that is clean and minimal; drawing on my architectural background for skills and design methods; I aim to create striking geometric pieces of wearable architecture.
My designs have been exhibited across the country, including at MADE at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Craft Scotland Summer Show and Identity in Oxford as part of Handmade in Britain. I work with independent retailers, and National Trust for Scotland to sell my work. In 2018 I took part in the Vanilla Inkubator programme, and completed a Cove Park residency in 2019.
